As a child of military parents, I've spent my entire Adult Life traumatized by the memories of my experiences as a kid going to those military dentists so when I tell you that I have severe Anxiety, I feel like that's not even close to an accurate description of my fear factor... I've been known to shed a tear or two as well... 😭 Put it this way, this morning, I talked myself out of going several times before finally coaxing myself to walk out of the house to head to the dentist office... 😬After today with Dr. Nelson & the incredible Team/Staff at Loveland ~ I will never fear going to the dentist again as long as I can stay with this dental group! I had the most pleasant interaction with everyone there! Even though I also fear needles, I only felt 1 to 2 little, itty bitty pinches at the beginning of the pre-procedure while deep breathing that "laughing gas"... I also signed my husband & I up for their "In-house" Membership Program (for those without Dental Insurance) and I even scheduled my next appointment before leaving! This is the 1st Dental office that I've ever been to, especially in the 3+ years since my accidental fall that damaged my smile/teeth in the first place, that I'm absolutely Positive that the people here cared about addressing my anxiety & fears while putting together a realistic plan of long term care! My husband & I will be patients here for years to come!
